Russia regrets non-communication Biden and Putin: Another opportunity missed

His regret was expressed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Russia on the fact that the US did not support President Vladimir Putin’s proposal for a teleconference between him and his US counterpart Joe Biden on March 19 or 22 after Biden called Putin a “killer” last week.

“Another opportunity has been lost to break the deadlock in Russian-American relations, for which Washington is responsible. The responsibility for this lies entirely with the United States, “the State Department said in a statement on its website.

On Thursday, following Biden’s characterization in an interview with ABC, which caused a cold war in the relations between the two countries, Putin stated that he should, together with Biden to hold a teleconference in the coming days, as reminded by AMPE.

“It simply came to our notice then has not backed Putin’s proposal to hold talks with US President Biden.“to discuss the problems that have arisen in bilateral relations, but also on the issue of strategic (nuclear) stability,” the Russian Foreign Minister said in a statement.

Russia’s ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, arrived in Moscow on Sunday for consultations on the analysis of Russian-US relations after Moscow recalled him.

Antonov was seen leaving the Foreign Ministry building today, but declined to comment, according to the TASS news agency.
