Russia Rejects Zelensky’s Peace Plan – Launches ‘Revenge’ for Kursk Invasion

Russia has rejected the peace plan announced by Volodymyr Zelensky shortly after the Ukrainian invasion of Kursk, as the Russian army advances en masse into the Donbass. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow is continuing the “special military operation,” ignoring the proposals Zelensky will present to Biden aimed at ending the war. “This is not the first time we have heard such statements from representatives of the Kiev regime. We know the nature of the Kiev regime,” Peskov said, as the Ukrainian president is expected to use recently seized Russian territories as a bargaining chip. According to the Reuters agency, Peskov also commented on the issue of the passage of Russian natural gas to Europe through Ukraine.
