Russia: Roskomnadzor blocks 15 more media sites

Russian telecommunications regulator Roskomnadzor has blocked the websites of at least 15 other media outlets as Moscow tightens its grip on information leaked online about the Ukraine war.

The websites of Bellingcat, a website of investigative journalism, local media, as well as Russian-language media based in Israel and Ukraine, are no longer accessible to Russia without a VPN, according to AFP reporters.

These sites also now appear in the official list of those banned by Roskomnadzor.

Kavkazki Ouzel (Kavkaz-uzel.eu) covering the Caucasus and permdaily.ru covering the Urals have been excluded from Russian-based websites.
