Russian authorities have announced their plans to sell a number of Ukrainian properties in Crimea, including one belonging to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In a post on Telegram, the chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, announced plans to sell 100 “nationalized properties”.

“These are residential premises, including the apartment of the Zelensky couple, sanatorium, resort, commercial and retail premises,” Konstantinov said on Saturday (16).
The Russians hope to raise more than 800 million rubles (around R$40 million) from the sale of the properties, according to Konstantinov.
Eight auctions have already been held in Crimea, said Konstantinov, adding that the concluded purchase and sale agreements reached a value of 815 million rubles (about R$41 million).
Konstantinov, who is the speaker of the Crimean Parliament, declared that a specially appointed commission will continue efforts to “identify the ownership of Ukrainian oligarchs in Crimea.”
The Crimean Peninsula was annexed by Russia in 2014.
In recent weeks, Ukraine has redirected some of its war efforts to the region, increasing missile and drone strikes in Crimea in an attempt to strike strategic and symbolic blows against Russian forces.
