Russia: Travel agency owner arrested on charges of organizing cruises for members of the LGBTI community

The Golovinsky District Court of Moscow decided to remand Andrey Kotov, owner of the travel company Men Travel, for two months. Kotov is accused of “organizing the activities of an extremist organization.” According to the interrogation, Kotov organized excursions for gay men, thus participating in the activities of the “LGBTKI movement”, which in Russia is considered an extremist organization. Kotov himself claims that his company offered ordinary tourist services.
