Russia: We proposed negotiations with Minsk in Ukraine, they proposed Warsaw and then cut off contact

The Kremlin is giving its own version of the impossibility of peace talks with Ukraine, as broadcast by Reuters.

According to the Russian presidency, Vladimir Putin initially agreed to hold talks when it became known that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said a “neutrality” regime could be discussed in Ukraine.

He even called on the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to hold a meeting of Russian and Ukrainian officials in Minsk.

However, according to the Russians, Ukraine proposed Poland’s Warsaw as the venue for the talks, after which Ukrainian officials cut off contact with Moscow.

It is recalled that the Belarus of the Lukashenko regime allows Russia to use its territory to send its troops to Ukraine, participating directly in the Russian invasion.
