The Main Radio Frequency Center (GRCHTs), which is subordinate to Roskomnadzor, announced a tender for the creation of an automatic system for searching for prohibited information in the media, social networks and instant messengers. The relevant documents have been published on the public procurement portal.
According to TJournal, a system called Monitoring Information Resources (IS MIR) will find information, the distribution of which is restricted or prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The tender indicated that the system should automatically track such publications, identify data sources, find mirrors of blocked sites and “inaccurate semantic copies” of materials. In addition, as planned, it will group texts by the people, organizations and locations mentioned, analyze the author’s opinion, give an assessment (negative, neutral, positive) and predict who may be interested in the publication based on factors such as gender, age, education. and income. The system must store the data for three years.
Under the agreement, IS MIR will be developed in two stages. The maximum cost of work at the first stage is 58.5 million rubles. The tender will last until September 17.
