To download the application, the user is prompted to follow a link to a file hosting service where the ZIP archive with malware is located.
In the future, this program intercepts logins and passwords from crypto wallets and other services. It can also become the starting point for larger and more sophisticated cyberattacks.
Users were advised to always check the sender of all incoming emails and not click on unfamiliar links.
At the end of August, Binance, Bybit, and OKX removed Sberbank, Tinkoff, and Alfa from their P2P platforms, which are under US sanctions. The first also banned Russians from exchanging transactions with any fiat currencies except for the ruble.
Later, KuCoin and OKX introduced additional restrictions for Russians.
