Russian company gives 66,000 euros in cash to Russian soldiers who will destroy tanks in Ukraine

To offer €66,000 in cash to the first soldiers to destroy or capture Western-made tanks in Ukraine a Russian company is being held after the Kremlin announced that Russian forces would destroy Western tanks sent to Zelensky’s country.

The US, Germany and several other European countries will send dozens of advanced tanks to Kyiv in the coming months to help strengthen the capacity of the Ukrainian military as it soon marks one year since its inception.

The decision has been described by the Kremlin as a dangerous escalation, and its spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, has said that tanks will “burn” on the front.

Now a Russian company, Fores, which is based in the Urals and makes crack-stopping additives for the energy industry, is offering cash to Russian soldiers who will “take German-made Leopard 2 tanks or American Abrams tanks.”

The company indicated, as reported by the Athens News Agency, that it will offer 66,000 euros to the first Russian soldier who destroys one of the tanks and 6,600 euros for all subsequent attacks.

Essentially echoing statements by Russian officials and state television journalists who support the war, Fores said NATO is supplying Ukraine with an “unlimited” amount of weapons and is escalating the conflict.

The company also said it would pay 198,000 euros as a fee for shooting down Western-made fighter jets if they are seized by Ukraine.

The tanks have not yet been delivered to Kyiv and it will be many months before the agreed number is sent.

Since the start of the war, the Russian Ministry of Defense claims to have destroyed hundreds of units of Western weapons.

In the past, Kyiv has refuted these accusations by pointing out, for example, that Russia has claimed to have destroyed US-made HIMARS multiple missile launchers.
