In Russia, and all over the world, the new social network Clubhouse, which is based on voice communication, is rapidly gaining popularity. The problem is that while the service is available only for iOS and by invitation.

And although the social network was launched in April 2020, it gained explosive popularity after being mentioned in an interview with Elon Musk. In January, developer Alpha Exploration announced that it plans to start working on an Android version soon.
So, the other day Russian Grigory Klyushnikov, a former developer of VKontakte and Telegram, announced on Twitter:
I got tired of waiting for the android clubhouse, and I wrote mine in one day. “
The Klyushnikov version can be installed on your smartphone as an APK file, and you can also explore the open source project on GitHub.

Authorization and registration work in the application, but the developer advises to first register on an iOS device. In the app, you can view room lists, join rooms from lists and links, speak and listen, raise your hand (ask to speak), speak with moderator permission, receive real-time member list updates, create and explore profiles, subscribe and unsubscribe to users and lists, update bio.

As the developer notes, the rest of the functions are not implemented. Including no notifications, you cannot create and moderate rooms. Separately, Klyushnikov warns about the possible presence of “hundreds of errors” in the implemented functions.
