Russian drone attack causes fire and hurts three people in Ukraine

During the night of last Friday (11), Russia launched a series of drones in a direct attack on Ukraine, injuring three people and damaging several buildings in Kiev, capital of the country.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the defenses slaughtered 56 of the 88 projectiles, and that 24 drones were “lost” in the process because the military used electronic war (attacks that manipulate devices using electromagnetic waves) to redirect them.

According to Reuters, municipal authorities said several commercial and residential buildings were on fire due to the attack.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine began in February 2022, caused by geopolitical and territorial tensions between the two countries.
