Geely now offers Geely Atlas cars in Russia only with atmospheric engines. Purchase a car with a turbocharged 1.8-liter engine producing 184 hp. no more.
The company is selling all turbocharged cars. Instead of 10 trim levels that were available back in November, there are now only five. At the same time, naturally-aspirated engines of 2.0 and 2.4 liters with a capacity of 139 and 149 hp are available to customers. with manual and automatic gearboxes, respectively.
The publication “Chinese Cars” notes that versions of Geely Atlas with a turbo engine have not been produced at the BelGi plant since October 2020, while about 90% of the available stocks are cars with a naturally-aspirated 2.4 liter engine. Because of these changes, Geely Atlas became the only car that fell in price against the backdrop of a massive rise in prices for Chinese cars. In November, the maximum price of the model was 1 951 990 rubles, then since December it is 1 851 990.
Together with the turbocharged version, Geely Atlas lost one interesting option: the so-called “command button”, which was in versions with a 1.8-liter engine. We are talking about the ability to adjust the front passenger seat from the back row. Other versions do not have this button.
Next year Geely Atlas will leave the Russian market and give way to Atlas Pro.
