The Russian division of the Honor brand, which recently separated from Huawei, announced the start of the distribution of a large update of the Magic UI 4.0 shell for the flagship Honor 20 series smartphones.

The Honor View 20 (review), Honor 20 (review) and Honor 20 Pro (review) smartphones began to receive the Magic UI 4.0 shell. The size of the update is impressive – 1.85 GB. As noted in Honor, the update is coming gradually, so someone might not have it yet, especially the Honor 20.
Magic UI 4.0 is a branded version of EMUI 11 and brings a redesigned user interface, new effects and improved animations, improved one-handed controls, an improved Multi-Screen Collaboration mode (in Russian localization, just a Multi-Screen mode), a new Gallery design, “Hours” and “Notepad”, and much more.
The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro also get support for knuckle gestures. For example, to take a screenshot, tap twice on the screen with one knuckle of your finger, and to record video from the screen – with two knuckles.
