Russian military aircraft over the Baltic Sea caused an alarm at German Air Force

A Russian military aircraft flying over the Baltic Sea without a signal mark caused an alarm on German ether today, resulting in a Eurofighter fighter to control potential threats. Germany’s Air Force announced that the Eurofighter fighters took off from the air base in Lague in northeast Germany at (09:20 GMT) 11:20 Greek time and returned again at 12:45. The Russian aircraft, an Ilyushin 20 ID, was found to fly without a transponder, according to the German Air Force. Eurofighter aircraft are part of a rapid reaction (QRA) unit, a state of readiness maintained to safeguard NATO airspace. According to Germany’s Air Force, its aircraft, belonging to the Quantum Reaction Team (QRA), take off once or twice a month due to lack of radio communication system with civilian aircraft known as Comloss.
