A Russian plane attacked Cobra Island on Thursday, according to the Russian Defense Ministry and the Ukrainian armed forces.

Serhii Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Odesa military administration, previously said that the Ukrainian flag was installed on Cobra Island.
Russian forces left the island last week after occupying it since the invasion began in February. Russian positions have come under repeated attacks by Ukrainian forces in previous weeks.
