Russian politicians fumed today over the heavy defeats suffered by the parties of French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in European elections, and the Kremlin said right-wing parties were gaining strength in Europe. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said the results also reflected, in part, the two leaders’ “incompetent policy” of supporting Ukraine in its war with Russia. “Time to resign.
