According to the RIA Novosti agency, contactless payment with Mir cards via smartphones using SberPay has been limited since April 13. The call center of the bank said that this is due to the decision of the technical partner.
From April 13, payment by smartphones with an NFC module using SberPay is limited. We are working on a new solution and will soon restore the service.
Sberbank
Sberbank customers can still pay with their smartphones: all they have to do is link their Mir card to Mir Pay or Samsung Pay. Also, the bank advised to use any plastic cards of Sberbank.

Recall that last week the US authorities announced the introduction of full blocking sanctions against Sberbank and Alfa-Bank. The US blocking sanctions went into effect April 13.
Yesterday, Sberbank’s mobile app for iOS devices was removed from the App Store. In addition, the application for devices that run the Android operating system is no longer available for download and update in the Google Play store.
