The top five among popular car models in the secondary market, for which loans were taken, according to the results of the first three months of this year, looks like this: Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio, Lada Granta, Ford Focus and Volkswagen Polo.
“The trend of shifting issuance towards car loans for used cars continued against the backdrop of a shortage of new cars and rising prices for them, which were exacerbated due to the complication of the macroeconomic situation. At the same time, the segment of new cars (58%) prevails in terms of the volume of disbursements in monetary terms due to objective reasons – a higher average check for car loans for new cars.explained in the study.
Russians most often issue loans for new cars of the brands Hyundai, KIA, Skoda, Lada and Renault. Toyota dropped out of the top five compared to the first quarter of last year due to the suspension of deliveries to Russia.
