The Avito Services team shared some interesting statistics. In March, Russian residents began to give various equipment for repair 45% more often than last year, and compared to February, the demand for this service increased by 11%.

At the same time, in March, Russians, on average, were 40% more active than last month in repairing Apple equipment – iPhone, iPad and MacBook. This is largely due to the news about the suspension of the supply of Apple products to Russia. Consumers prefer to restore existing ones instead of buying new models.

In March alone, compared to February 2022, the demand for iPad repair across the country increased by 114%, and the number of offers from masters increased by 77%.

Also, the Russians began to more actively give their iPhones for repair – in March 2022, compared to February, the demand for their service increased by 25%, and the annual dynamics was + 60%. MacBooks are also getting repaired 10% more often than in February.

Smartphones in general began to be repaired 47% more often compared to March last year, computers and laptops – by 44%, photo, video and audio equipment – almost 3 times compared to the same period last year. In addition, in March of this year, Russians gave TVs to craftsmen 47% more often, and set-top boxes – 75% more than a year earlier.
