Ryan Reynolds reveals the name of his fourth child with Blake Lively after a year and a half

Ryan Reynolds 47, has finally revealed the name of his fourth child with his wife, Blake Lively 36. The couple attended the premiere of the actor’s new film, “Deadpool and Wolverine” in New York, on Monday night (22). During a speech of thanks, the star mentioned his wife and children: his daughters James 9, Inez 7, Betty 4, and the baby Olin 1 year and a half old.

Speaking on stage at Lincoln Center, Ryan said: “I want to start by thanking my wife, Blake, who is here. I want to thank my children, James, Inez, Betty and Olin, who are here. I hope that if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing – I mean, the content of this film – that happens in their wonderful lives. I love that my whole family is here.”

Despite the announcement of the name of the youngest member of the family, the celebrity couple has not yet revealed the gender of the little one, although Olin is traditionally a masculine name of Scandinavian origin, meaning “heir of the ancestor” or “to inherit”. Olin is also a common nickname for the name Olaf.

In May, Ryan responded to speculation that the singer Taylor Swift 34, reportedly revealed the name of her fourth child on her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department” . During his appearance on the American program Today, the actor joked: “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name is going to be, and I’ll tell you this: we’re still waiting.”

Taylor’s song “Betty,” which appears on her 2020 album, “folklore” was inspired by Ryan and Blake’s daughter, and the girl’s sisters, Inez and James, are also mentioned in the song. In 2020, the superstar confirmed that she named the characters in her song after the children of the friendly couple.

“I named all the characters in this story after my friends’ kids,” she told Country Radio.
