“I was at Zoe’s party yesterday. She had fun even with her broken arm. I want to thank you for your affection. Today we have a rehearsal at Vila Isabel. It will be my first rehearsal in Vila after everything that happened. I’ll be able to hug and dance a little. I’m going to miss it”, concluded Sabrina.
Hours later, the samba school published an official note on social media, explaining the situation.
“For safety reasons, we unfortunately had to make the decision to cancel our street rehearsal this Wednesday (11). Our association deeply regrets the violence of which our community has constantly been a victim,” the note began.
“For another night in a row, the residents of our neighborhood suffered from this recurring problem in our city. We call on the public authorities to be present and take the appropriate measures so that the population has their safety and the right to come and go guaranteed”, he stated.
