In April, Sony announced that it had changed its mind about closing the PlayStation Store for the PS3 and PS Vita. However, it has now become known that not everything is as rosy as it might seem.
According to the independent video game developer Sometimes You on its official page on the social network Twitter, the time limits for the release of new games for the PS Vita remain in force for the developers. He explained that the game store will continue to work for PS Vita users, but the games will stop coming out from the summer of 2021.
Note that while maintaining access to the PlayStation Store on the PS3 and PS Vita consoles, however, Sony has not changed its decision regarding another portable console – the PSP purchase function will be disabled on July 2, 2021, as planned.
