Quite reduced from the level of 400,000, which had reached a few days ago, are the daily cases coronavirus in India, however, remain high, while at the same time a record number of deaths is recorded.
Its federal Ministry of Health India announced today that in the previous 24 hours another 4,529 patients succumbed to COVID-19, while 267,334 cases of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in the laboratory.
According to official data, as pointed out by AMPE, the number of victims of the pandemic of the new coronavirus has so far reached 283,248 dead out of a total of 25.5 million infections. It is the third highest number of deaths in the world, after those recorded by the United States and Brazil, and the second highest number of cases, after the United States.

Figures released by the Ministry of Health indicate that infections are steadily declining in recent days, however several experts point out that they are rather unreliable, as not enough tests are performed in areas of the province where the new coronavirus is spreading rapidly.

India is the country hardest hit by the pandemic in recent months than any other in the world, as the SARS-CoV-2 mutant originally identified in that country is blamed for the outbreak on a daily basis – exceeding the limit of 400,000 in the previous period.
