The Anji Ansheng was sailed on the afternoon of May 15th, the largest Chinese manufacturing ferry in Europe for its first trip to Europe, carrying about 7,000 vehicles produced in China. The Shanghai ship’s departure marks a significant milestone, surpassing the record a few weeks ago by the ferry byD Shenzhen, which has also been built in China by the byd automaker. Byd Shenzhen had before Anji Ansheng, the title of the largest ferry in service worldwide. “The fact that this record was again dismissed within a period of shorter than a month reflects the rapid development of China’s industrial sector on a medium and large scale, as well as the resilience and vitality of the country’s external trade despite the complex conditions of the world environment,” said Gao Yunn University.
