With Consumer Day, Brazilian e-commerce recorded revenues of R$ 722 million this year, a growth of 22% compared to the previous year.
The date, celebrated on March 15, accumulated about 1.5 million orders, an increase of 16% compared to 2021. Published this Tuesday (22), the data are from Neotrust, national e-commerce monitoring company.
According to the survey, the average number of items purchased on that date was 2.8 products per basket. The average price per product was BRL 165, an increase of 8% compared to 2021. The average ticket registered was BRL 491 in 2022, an increase of 5% compared to last year.
The company also analyzed the segment’s revenue in the week of March 9 to 15. In this period, total revenue was R$ 4 billion with 8 million orders placed.
According to the survey, in the first 15 days of March, e-commerce earned BRL 7.2 billion with more than 16 million orders placed. There was an 8% increase in both indicatives in the comparison between 2022 and 2021.
