The Russian office of Skoda has announced the start of sales of the new Octavia in a configuration with a naturally aspirated 1.6 MPI engine and a 2.0 TSI turbo engine, in addition to the existing 1.4 TSI engine.
Since the start of sales, the Skoda Octavia has been supplied with a 1.4 TSI engine with a capacity of 150 hp. It works with a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. Already in the new model, the base is a four-cylinder 1.6 MPI with 110 hp, which is paired with an automatic 6-speed transmission. The version with a more powerful turbocharged 2.0 TSI engine (190 hp) comes with a 7-speed robotic DSG gearbox.
The fourth generation Octavia is offered in three trim levels: Active Plus, Ambition Plus and Style Plus. Moreover, each of them, according to the company, has been expanded with additional options. The updated model has become not only more functional, but also safer and smarter thanks to intelligent features. The car has become a little larger in size, and the interior and trunk are more spacious. The new Octavia features three-zone Climatronic climate control, a two-spoke steering wheel, LED matrix headlights with smart lighting and KESSY FULL keyless entry system on all doors. It is also the first model from the Czech brand to feature shift-by-wire technology in an automatic transmission.
The new Skoda Octavia is already available for order, the prices are as follows:
1.6 MPI:
- Active Plus – from 1,473,000 rubles (6-speed automatic transmission);
- Ambition Plus – from 1,563,000 rubles (6-speed automatic transmission);
- Style Plus – from 1,764,000 rubles (6-speed automatic transmission).
1.4 NO:
- Active Plus – from 1,476,000 rubles (6-speed automatic transmission), 1,533,000 rubles (8-speed automatic transmission);
- Ambition Plus – from 1,566,000 rubles (6-speed automatic transmission), 1,623,000 rubles (8-speed automatic transmission);
- Style Plus – from 1,767,000 rubles (6-speed automatic transmission), 1,824,000 rubles (8-speed automatic transmission).
