In the first quarter, sales of smart home devices grew 1.5 times compared to the same period a year earlier. The most popular are remotes, sockets, light bulbs, IP cameras and various sensors, as well as smart speakers with voice assistants.
The most popular brands are Yandex, Xiaomi and Aqara. Most of the sales among “smart” speakers fell on devices with Alice from Yandex. The best-selling models included: “Station Mini (with clock)”, “Station Light” and “Station Max”. The most popular colors are black, purple and mint.
Popularity of smart home devices in 2020-2021 contributed both to the pandemic, when people began to devote more resources to organizing their home space, and to the development of the market for voice-controlled speakers. In 2022, we see the continuation and even acceleration of these trends in some places, since this category is represented mainly by Russian and Chinese brands.
