Apple retained its leadership in the market, although its share decreased from 30.1% in the second quarter of 2020 to 28.0% in the second quarter of 2021. The number of users of Apple smartwatches has exceeded 100 million.
Huawei is in second place, but it has lost ground. If a year ago the Chinese telecommunications giant held 13.1% of the market, then in the last quarter its share was 9.3%.
Next comes Samsung. The South Korean manufacturer was able to increase its share from 6.8% to 6.7% over the year.
The top five also include imoo and Garmin, with a 6.0% and 5.8% market share, respectively.
