As expected, sales of the new Kia Cerato sedan, which is being produced at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, will start today in Russia.
The new Kia Cerato sedan is available in six trim levels and 12 configuration and engine combinations at prices ranging from 1,394,900 to 1,829,900 rubles. You can find details about all versions at this link. Kia Cerato is offered with two engines: 128-horsepower 1.6-liter and 150-horsepower 2-liter, as well as with a manual 6-speed gearbox or 6-band “automatic”.
For the first time in Russia, the factory telematics complex Kia Connect is used in this car. The application and on-board services of Kia Connect will allow the owner to remotely activate various functions of the car, receive up-to-date information about its condition and location. It will be possible to remotely start and warm up the engine, set climate control settings, and control door locks. Later, the technology will appear in other Kia models.
The new Kia Cerato is the first in Russia to receive an updated Kia logo above the radiator grille and a new design with thinner LED headlights and dual-row LED daytime running lights. The rear LED lights provide a three-dimensional effect. The car is equipped with 17-inch wheels.
The car will receive dual-zone climate control, an electric parking brake and a wireless charging pad for a smartphone. The list of equipment includes a set of security systems and assistance to the driver of the Drive Wise complex. Depending on the configuration, up to eleven electronic systems and assistants will be available to users. Regardless of the configuration, Cerato is equipped with a new multimedia system with an 8-inch display and wireless support for Apple CarPlay systems with Android Auto and Yandex services.
