On the Italian PHICA platform – which had more than 700,000 subscribers before its administrators closed on Thursday, accusing users of “using the platform wrong” – also found images of Meloni’s sister, Ariana, and opposition leader Eli. The photos, accompanied by vulgar and sexist captions, as the Guardian reports, had been drawn without consent from personal social networks or public sources and had been processed to focus on specific parts of the body or present women in sexual attitudes.
