Sam Bankman-Fried could be behind the BALD project

Several cryptocurrency experts, including Adam Cochran, managing partner of the CEHV Foundation, announced that Sam Bankman-Fried is behind the BALD project. The price of the token collapsed by more than 90% after the unknown creator of the token withdrew $12.5 million from the liquidity pool.

“I am 90% sure that the developer of BALD is SBF or a former employee of Alameda Research,” Cochran said.

As evidence, he cited the example of voting on early management decisions of the SushiSwap decentralized exchange. Precisely Bankman-Fried attributed “saving” the platform when “chef” Nomi retired.

According to Cochran, one of the addresses that participated in the withdrawal of funds from the BALD pool was also seen in SushiSwap voting. And it’s labeled Alameda Research.

An analyst under the pseudonym hype_eth agrees with him. He claimsthat the same characteristic phrases and intonations that SBF used can be traced in the publications of the creator of BALD.

Your opinion on this matter expressed and Blockworks editor Andrew Thurman. According to his analysis, some of the addresses attributed to the developer are associated with Alameda Research.

It is noteworthy that the creator of the project himself denies sale of tokens. At the time of writing, the token exchange rate “dipped” by more than 70% per day, according to Coin Market Cap.
