This Saturday (27), Sam Smith congratulated the Brazilian singer Anita for the release of his new album “Funk Generation” released last Friday (26).
Sharing a video of the Rio native, where she announces the launch of her new production, the Brit wrote: “Congratulations on this beautiful album, Anitta”.

It is worth mentioning that “Ahi”, the 14th song on the album, was written in partnership with Sam Smith. The production is by Norwegians Stargate, responsible for hits such as “Rude Boy” and “Don't Stop The Music”, by Rihanna, and “Beautiful Liar”, by Shakira with Beyoncé.
The news positively surprised fans, as the Brazilian singer announced, in February, that Sam Smith had canceled the release of the song.
Speaking to the press last Friday (26), the singer also hinted that the composition could have a music video. “There are also samba schools in the 'Ahi' video, if I manage to release it,” said the singer, indicating that the clip could be released soon.
