Sam Smith performs surprise duet of “I’m Not The Only One” with Alicia Keys; look

Sam Smith hosted Alicia Keys, on Thursday night (13), for the party celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of “In The Lonely Hour”, her first album.

The duo performed a duet of “I’m Not The Only One”, a hit from the Brit’s album, at the event that took place at the traditional LGBT+ hotspot Julius Bar, in New York, United States. The performance was one of those that took place in the house’s karaoke.

With the microphone in hand, Sam Smith thanked Alicia Keys for her presence and said that the duet was a “dream come true”.

“Can you believe we’ve never done this before? This is crazy”, returned the voice of “Girl On Fire” and “Fallin””, who came to Brazil in March to sing at Lollapalooza, in São Paulo.

“I’m Not The Only One” was the third single from “In The Lonely Hour”, awarded Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards. At this ceremony, Sam also won the awards for New Artist, Song of the Year (“Stay With Me”) and Record of the Year (“Stay With Me”).

To mark the 10th anniversary of his debut album, the British singer announced, on Wednesday (12), that he would release a special edition of the album on August 2nd. The album is now available for pre-order.
