Saman Abbas, Fourth Degree: “The father arrested in Pakistan”

There is one more hope than the father of Saman Abbas can be handed over to Italian justice. Only two days ago Interpol announced that Pakistan had also issued an arrest warrant for murder against Shabbar Abbas, Saman’s father, the girl who disappeared on April 30, 2021 from Novellara, in the province of Reggio Emilia. Now the broadcast Fourth Degree announces that Saman’s father has been arrested. The arrest came for a fraud to a compatriot.

If the authorities confirm the arrest, they should also implement the international arrest warrant. This the Interpol statement: «In recent weeks, the Pakistani authorities have acknowledged the validity of the activities carried out in Italy by the Carabinieri of Reggio Emilia and by the judicial authority supported by the police cooperation services. They too have decided to adopt the “red notice”, i.e. the request for international arrest already in the Interpol circuit, delegating the police authorities of Punjab, the region from which Saman’s family comes from».

The Italian investigators have no doubts about the guilt of Shabbar Abbas and his wife in hiding his daughter’s crime. The two fled to Pakistan on May 1, 2021, with a flight purchased before the murder of the young woman whose body was not found.

The girl was found guilty by her family for refusing an arranged marriage and for having had an affair with an Italian boy. There is also a recorded conversation of her father: “I killed my daughter and I do not regret it.” There was also an agreementextended to the whole family, so that no one would reveal the murder of Saman Abbas and the manner of execution.
