The images of a cracked glass in one of the viewpoints of the Sampa Sky , in São Paulo, went viral on social media. In a statement, the responsible company reinforced that the attraction is safe.
The glass structure, which has yielded breathtaking clicks, is 150 meters from the ground. According to the company, there are four layers of 10 mm glass and 3 layers of structural PVB that guarantee the safety of visitors.
“We have a team of specialists that periodically carries out all the maintenance – precisely so that visitors can be sure that they are safe to “walk in heights” on the streets of São Paulo”, guaranteed Sampa Sky.
In the images published by Ketany Santos, it is possible to see the difference in the glass before and after the incident. In the caption of the video, Ketany explained: “the day I went to the most famous viewpoint in São Paulo and one of the layers of glass broke”.
The record made by the visitor also shows employees interdicting the place with a tarp.
