According to former Blockstream top manager and head of Jan3 Samson Moe, Bitcoin will cost $1 million “very soon,” but he also warned of the “inevitable collapse” of altcoins.

The forecast of $1 million per BTC seems extremely optimistic, but Samson Mow, during the “What Bitcoin Did” podcast, emphasized that in the coming months we should expect parabolic growth in the price of the first cryptocurrency.

“I think that BTC will cost $1 million already this year. Well, at the very least, next year. But this will definitely happen very soon,” the veteran of the cryptocurrency industry emphasized.

The main argument in favor of his theory is based on the dynamics of supply and demand for Bitcoin, which changed greatly after the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States. He emphasized that Bitcoin now has an ideal situation for a large-scale upward surge.

At the same time, the head of Jan3 is not at all favorable towards altcoins. In his opinion, a significant portion of funds flows into Bitcoin, not only from traditional funds, but also from products for alternative cryptocurrencies.

Note that Samson Mou previously said that spot ETFs could push the BTC rate to $1 million.
