A large variable-size SLC buffer and Intelligent TurboWrite technology help maintain peak performance. The drives have a new sleep mode that is compatible with devices that support Window Modern Standby.
The lineup includes 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB SSDs. The resource is the best in the class and is 150, 300, 600, 1200 and 2400 TBW, respectively. The manufacturer provides a five-year warranty for new drives. Suggested retail prices for the Samsung 870 EVO start at $ 50 for the 250GB model.
