Samsung said on Wednesday that domestic sales of its latest Galaxy S22 series are expected to top 1 million units later this week. And it’s two weeks faster than its predecessors. Samsung said sales of its latest flagship series surpassed 900,000 units earlier this month, meaning it has sold an average of 24,000 phones every day since its launch.

At the same time, the top Galaxy S22 Ultra took half of sales, which is very good for this model, which combines the features of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note families. If sales of the current line did reach 1 million by the end of the week, that would be two weeks faster than the Galaxy S21 line and 47 days faster than the Galaxy S10.
Importantly, Samsung says that outside of South Korea, the new line is also selling better than last year. Sales in some markets increased by 70%.
