Samsung is preparing to launch yet another F-series phone, which is to be dubbed the Galaxy F42 5G. A device with model number SM-E426B has been spotted in the popular Geekbench benchmark database, indicating an imminent announcement.
The device is equipped with a single-chip MediaTek Dimensity 700 system, 6 GB of RAM and runs Android 11. In the Geekbench single-core test, the phone scored 559 points, while using all the cores, the result was 1719 points. Before appearing on Geekbench, the phone was spotted on certification sites such as the Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Typically, the Galaxy F lineup comes with rebranded versions of the existing A or M series smartphones. Currently, the Galaxy A22 5G is the only smartphone from the company to use the Dimensity 700 mobile platform. It is believed that the Galaxy F42 5G may be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A22 5G.
The Galaxy A22 features a 6.6-inch Full HD + IPS display. The phone has up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128 of internal storage. The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W charging.
