The Galaxy Wide5 smartphone has appeared in the Google Play Console database, which should be released under the market name Galaxy F42.
The device is equipped with a drop-shaped screen with a FullHD + resolution, as well as a single-chip MediaTek Dimensity 700 system. The smartphone runs on Android 11 operating system, it has 6 GB of RAM and a side fingerprint scanner.
Typically, the Galaxy F lineup comes with rebranded versions of existing A or M series smartphones. Currently, the Galaxy A22 5G is the only smartphone from the company to use the Dimensity 700 mobile platform. Sources previously reported that the Galaxy F42 5G could be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A22 5G.

The Galaxy A22 features a 6.6-inch Full HD + IPS display. The phone has up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128 of internal storage. The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. The front camera is 8-megapixel, the main camera received image sensors with a resolution of 48, 5 and 2 megapixels. The phone is equipped with a microSD card slot and a fingerprint scanner.
The presentation of the new device is expected in September.
