Enthusiasts have already tried to spot mysterious “whole gigabyte” improvements. The update does not bring the proprietary One UI 3.1.1 shell. The thematic resource SamMobile managed to find only one innovation noticeable to users – an updated application for scanning QR codes.

Instead of just opening the camera app when the user taps the QR Scanner switch in the notification bar, the dedicated QR scanner app that was first introduced with the Galaxy S21 series now launches. In addition to scanning QR codes with the camera, it is now also possible to open QR codes saved in the gallery – this feature has also recently appeared on the Galaxy S21 series smartphones with a recent update.
