Samsung has released a fresh firmware update for the Galaxy S21 that includes the latest security patch and several functional improvements.
The update is rolling out in Europe, the firmware is numbered G99xBXXU3AUDA and weighs about 1.2 GB. Even though there are only a few days left until May, Samsung has already installed the May 2021 Android security patch on its smartphone.
A fresh update has improved camera performance. The Quick Share application has also been improved. For those who don’t know, Quick Share is used to transfer files from one Galaxy device to another. Unfortunately, nothing else is mentioned in the changelog.
If you live in Europe, you may have already received an update notification. You can also always check for an update manually. To do this, go to Settings >> Software Update and then click Download and Install.
