Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphones, among other things, were credited with a sub-screen front camera. It could appear either on the entire line or on the top-end Galaxy S22 Ultra.
However, according to Korean sources, this probably won’t happen at all. Samsung was not happy with the image quality of such a camera, as well as the low production volume.
As a result, the company allegedly abandoned the use of such a camera in the Galaxy S22 line and is considering the possibility of introducing the technology into the Galaxy Note22. But the question is still open.
So far, only ZTE has implemented a sub-screen camera in a serial smartphone, but the picture quality was really bad.
