Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will cut S Pen lag by three times

It has long been known that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will act as the spiritual successor to the Galaxy Note, with a slot for storing the S Pen stylus.

Now it has been reported that the S Pen for the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have input lag of just 2.8ms. This is a significant reduction compared to the 9ms latency on the Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra. It’s also about three times faster than the most advanced S Pen for the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Samsung is not only adding an S Pen slot, but it is also working to make it as modern as possible.
