Samsung Galaxy S23 will rewrite history: it will be the company’s first flagship on Soc MediaTek

Samsung has so far released its flagship smartphones based on Qualcomm Snapdragon single-chip systems and its own Exynos family platforms, but next year the story will be rewritten.

Several sources confirmed at once that the South Korean company is already discussing the use of MediaTek single-chip systems for its future flagships, while the Galaxy S23 will be the first flagship manufacturer to receive an appropriate mobile platform.

However, not all devices in the Galaxy S23 line will have MediaTek’s latest flagship SoC under the hood. Samsung will only use them for Asian models. In addition, there is information that about half of the Galaxy S22 Fan Edition (FE) devices will also be created on the chips of the Taiwanese company MediaTek.

It is currently unclear which MediaTek chips Samsung will use for these smartphones, but it is worth noting that Samsung has previously used MediaTek SoCs for its budget smartphones.
