Samsung recently released the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G foldable smartphone, which features an enlarged 1.9-inch external screen. This external screen can display time, weather, music, notifications and be used as a viewfinder.

CarudiBu, a member of the XDA Devlopers team, discovered a bug or vulnerability in the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. This bug essentially allows the GeckoView-based browser to run on an external screen. However, you can browse web pages and customize widgets in your browser. A post from CarudiBu states that this vulnerability does not require ROOT, but the Samsung Health app must be removed first.
It is also worth noting that while this vulnerability can be exploited to browse the web on an external screen using custom widgets, it is not possible to access the onscreen keyboard or save the current session. Unless Samsung addresses this vulnerability in future updates, CarudiBu plans to release more use cases for the bug.

The main foldable 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen supports adaptive image refresh rate (10-120 Hz). The phone received improved stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 888 SoC and is equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The main camera has two image sensors with a resolution of 12 megapixels, which are protected by Super Clear Glass (Gorilla DX). The front camera has a resolution of 10 megapixels.
The battery capacity is 3300 mAh, 15-watt wired and 10-watt wireless charging are supported, as well as PowerShare reverse wireless charging. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side. The smartphone is IPX8 rated (Samsung’s first waterproof clamshell with a flexible screen) and supports LTE and 5G networks.
