Google’s first flexible smartphone could be a very attractive proposition due to the price.

According to recent data, Google, as before, is still targeting a price of $1,400. By comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold3 costs $1,800. True, the Pixel Notepad model will have to compete with the Galaxy Z Fold4, but it’s not a fact that this Samsung smartphone will be cheaper than its predecessor.
Notepad production will allegedly start in the third quarter, so it could come out just along with the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. Earlier it was reported that Notepad will not receive a set of cameras, like the current Pixel 6 or 6 Pro, being content with the old 12-megapixel Sony IMX 363 sensor instead. it just might not be. On the other hand, these rumors were still about the Pixel Fold, which was supposed to be released at the end of last year, but Google refused to release it. It is unlikely that the device will not change in any way in a year, but, of course, it is not necessary, it will receive new cameras at the same time.
By the way, the name Pixel Notepad is allegedly chosen instead of Pixel Fold, so that there are no associations with the Samsung line.
