The Samsung blog has an entry that the company is expanding the list of Galaxy gadgets that will support the One UI 4.1 shell. This firmware debuted with the release of the Galaxy S22 line and will finally appear on other devices – it will go not only to flagship models, but also to mid-budget options.
The first to receive One UI 4.1 are the foldable Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, last year’s flagship Galaxy S21 (as well as the FE model), the Tab S7 FE tablet, and the unnamed Galaxy A (most likely, the company is referring to the new Galaxy A33 and A53, which are already announced with this skin).
Then the update will reach the Galaxy S20 series (and S20 FE 5G), Z Fold (Z Fold2 5G, Fold 5G, Fold), Z Flip (regular and 5G versions), current Note (Note20, Note20 Ultra, Note10+ 5G, Note10+) , the S10 series (including the younger S10e), as well as unnamed Galaxy A devices and Tab S tablets.
Apparently, the budget Galaxy M line will not receive the latest interface, like the Galaxy Tab A series tablets – at least they were not mentioned by the manufacturer. It’s also strange not to see a regular Note10 while there’s a plus version.
