The Expert RAW app, which gives you more control over the Galaxy S21 Ultra cameras, is now available for the brand new Galaxy S22 smartphones, which are available worldwide today.
Expert RAW supports HDR with the ability to save and store images in lossless JPEG and 16-bit linear DNG RAW formats. Integration with Adobe Lightroom is also included, with the ability to open RAW images directly in an image-editing application using a toggle in the camera. There are even profiles for even more convenient editing.

Expert RAW is now officially out of beta. However, the new stable version is only available for Galaxy S22 phones, at least for now. It is important to note that only Samsung devices running Android 12 will receive official support for the app in the future.
Samsung says the stable version of the app will be available on the Galaxy S21 Ultra as early as March 7, with the Z Fold3 launching sometime in April. Galaxy S20 Ultra, Note20 Ultra and Z Fold2 owners will receive the app before the end of the first half of this year.
