It seems that Samsung is not going to slow down in the flexible smartphone market, where it now totally dominates.
According to Ross Young, founder of research firms Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, Samsung ordered many more displays for the Galaxy Z Flip4 than was originally produced for the Flip3. More precisely, we are talking about 8.7 million against 5.4 million panels.
Thus, Samsung expects to sell about 60% more new devices than the current generation models. It should be understood that we are talking about the initial order – later Samsung may well produce additional panels and smartphones.

The Galaxy Z Flip3 has become the company’s bestseller thanks to its relatively low price for this class of smartphones and eye-catching design. Its sales significantly exceed those of the Galaxy Z Fold3.
